Tehari


TEHARI


Ingredients: Meat-2 Kg., onion paste-6 tbs.,garlic paste-2 tbs.,chilly paste-1 tbs. cumin paste -1 tbs.
                   ginger paste-2 tbs.,cardamom-4 pics.,cinnamon-3 pics., clove-4 pics.,green chilly-8 pics.
                   oil-1.1/4 cup, rice -1 Kg.


process: Meat cut into small pieces,wash and clean. Add all aforesaid  spices except rice & some oil.
              Set a big pan on gas burner pour 1/2 cup oil then pour above meat mixture and stir conti-
              nously. Add  cardamom,cinnamon,clove fry the meat for 10 minutes. Then add water and
              boil the curry until meat is soft and oily, water also reduced. Now separate the meat and spices.

              Wash the rice leave in colander for the water to drain. Set  above said big pan  on burner with
               previous spices and pour the rice in it, stir and fry for some times. Then add 6-7 cup hot water
               and salt to taste, let it time to boil. When rice will be boiled 75% then add meat , green chilly                          and stir  up side down ,keep it on low heat for 20 minutes with cover. Then put down from
               burner keep the pan with cover for another 20 minutes. Now tehari is ready , uncover the
               pan and serve it with salad.
